Mostly self-taught as an artist, I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My inspiration comes largely from the natural wonders of what I see around me, especially the vast Tantramar Marsh which borders my hometown, Sackville, NB. Though I've used many different mediums over the years, since the late 1990s I've focused primarily on coloured pencil work and recently have been enjoying working with pen & ink once again. I market prints, notecards and other items which feature some of my Marsh paintings and have taught art classes as well, most recently with the Sackville Art Association. I've also completed numerous custom portrait commissions, both pets and people, including pencil portraits for the Sackville Sports Wall of Fame.
I'm a member of the Sackville Art Association, life member of the Fredericton Society of Artists, past member of Gallery Connexion in Fredericton, past member of the Coloured Pencil Society of America, and the Coloured Pencil Society of Canada.
