Marie Salter Marie Salter is a native of Windsor, NS. Her interest in painting began in Halifax where she attended evening art classes. After moving to Fredericton several years ago, she became an active member of the Turps Club and the Fredericton Society of Artists. Although presently working in oils, she has done many art works in watercolor. She has enjoyed photographing and painting many of the covered bridges of New Brunswick. She is working towards preparing a collection of paintings of these bridges for her four children. Recently her work has been in capturing and painting the street scenes and buildings of downtown Fredericton. Painting has been a rewarding challenge for Marie to preserve our historical covered bridge sites and the character of Fredericton's downtown buildings. Contact: Marie Salter |
