2011 FSA Spring Exhibition: The annual Fredericton Society of Artists' Spring Exhibition will be held May 27-29, 2011 at the Fredericton Inn. Members will each be allowed to display up to five (5) paintings and the total number of works on exhibit will probably be around 100 or, possibly, 120.
New Members!: With the change in membership policy last year, there is a fairly narrow window for new members to join FSA. Each year, new members may join FSA up until the last day of November, at which time the membership list is frozen until the following year. Since our year ends with the closing dinner in June, potential new members might consider attending either the May or September meetings as a guest. If interested in joining, the annual membership fee is $30.00. As mentioned, new members will only be accepted until November 30.
FSA's activities provide opportunities for members to share painting expertise; solve painting problems; learn how exhibits are organized; discover new products and techniques; and, what is perhaps most important: belong to a group of people who, although diverse in age and walk of life, share an interest in art.
